For this second blog, you will write about a problem we as human beings and the Earth in general is facing due to the global warming or the pollution of the environment.
First, you need to take or find out a picture that represents this problem (you upload the picture where you write your comment)
After that, under the picture you will write a description about this problem. You can talk about aspects like: How is it caused? Which are the causes of this problem? What consequences is this problem bringing to human and wild life? Where is it more common? Is there any solution to eradicate this problem?
The following is an example I am providing you:
Red Tide
The red tides take place as consequence of the explosive increasing of a population of tiny seaweeds. They can be provoked because of polluted water from towns, houses or entire cities that goes into the ocean. Because of this contamination, the red tides produce toxins that get into the bodies of animals such as oysters, fish, shell-fish, lobsters, shrimps and crabs. When people or animals consume them, they can cause many diseases as stomachache and severe diarrheas or even in the most serious cases death in animals as well as human beings that ate them. This problem is very common in many countries where they do not have a project of treatment for polluted or residual water and every year affect the economy fishermen, sailors and customers in general.
Landslides produced by Earthquake:
ResponderEliminarQuake: Is when the earth moves by tectonic plates, because energy is released, also can be produced by a volcano or another things like abrupt changes in atmospheric pressure, or changes in river channels. A landslide is when due to an earthquake or excess water, an extension of earth, moving, and causing many human, beings are buried under this vast amount of land, and not only people are also buried another beings live (both flora and fauna). This problem occur mainly at high altitudes, where it rins a lot and in the tops of mountains or high places, thanks God in these places almost no many people live, as if it were in the middle of a big city where many people live, would be greater the number of victims due to these problems, and would be more difficult to help all the victims because here in Costa Rica do not have a good team of salvation, that is why or well that is one of the reasons of we dont have any solution to eradicate this problem, but we can prevent away from hazardous areas.

The transformation of forested lands by human actions represents one of the great forces in global environmental change and one of the great drivers of biodiversity loss. The impact of people has been and continues to be profound. Forests are cleared, degraded and fragmented by timber harvest, conversion to agriculture, road-building, human-caused fire, and in myriad other ways. The effort to use and subdue the forest has been a constant theme in the transformation of the earth, in many societies, in many lands, and at most times. Deforestation has important implications for life on this planet.
ResponderEliminarIn 7th grade, i was talking to one of my classmates and he told me that every hour people destroys an stadium-sized forest...And to tell you the truth that really scared me and made me think of how selfish we humans are.
the problem I'm going to talk about is very important because Peron face day to day and are the drought that is like when a dry port deforestation has much to do with this issue as it moves away from cutting trees rain and may seem a desert people affected area are causing this and are affected themselves apart from the pollution deforestation is drying rivers and less water is already affecting us that water is a much needed resource to live and to survive the other problems, some of the consequences that come with are: The main cause of any drought is the lack of rain, lack of water also can produce disease, dehydration and loss of their animals lack of food, droughts become more frequent and intense in Switzerland, Year after year we see as global warming is generating many natural disasters such as drought affects more countries. a great solution to this major problem would be to seek maximum water savings and the other would be to protect the environment with other resources as possible would reduce pollution and restore forests with reforestation

The problem that I am going write is about new diseases caused by environmental pollution . Nowadays people are dying because the environmental pollution are unleashing new diseases. Most are respiratory problems because the new industries of cars are not regulating the explosives and this is the main engine of the air pollution but you should know that not only pollution comes from industry but from all over If you go to mexico you can clearly see how the pollution of this country is too big and is said to just breath the air every day is like smoking more than a pack of cigarettes.Also increases asthma symptoms and allergies and we should care for our planet to prevent new diseases

ResponderEliminarDeforestation is a process provocation usually by: the bad action that has the man on the nature, such as for example the talas or burning carried out by the industries. Deforestation is causing: biodiversity loss, aridity ,extinction ,changes in climatic conditions and soil erosion. Among the factors that lead to deforestation are: neglect ,people s ignorance and management little responsible for afforestation.
Today the deforestation occurs mainly in Latin America, West Africa and some parts of Asia. This problem is one of the more common in our country and around the world, because human beings are not we are aware of the damage that we do the nature with deforestation ,this is because people are more worried about the industry than by the environment.
Possible solutions that has brought us the human beings to put into practice are: protect forest ecosystems, designing mechanisms to ensure the resources of our forests ,must be to establish moratoria to use new projects for the logging of trees ,in schools and colleges must recycle the paper and campaigning against deforestation and give talks to raise awareness of the damage so great that we are causing to the planet.
Peolple have to take a decisions right now.
Endangered species
ResponderEliminarDue to global warming, many species are in danger of extinction. As the illustration shows, many animals are losing their habitats. This is a very serious problem since unfortunately we will witness the disappearance of many species on Planet Earth. The habitats are being destroyed due to several causes like deforestation, overexploitation, pollution, diseases and urbanism. Also, habitats have been altered and modified by humans who need the land and the forest. Besides, industrialization and production of too many gases have destroyed the ozone layer and has caused the melting of the poles. We need to take a stand and start acting as responsible citizens. As solutions, we can use the 4 RS: recycle, reuse, reduce and restore. We must avoid buying products made of animals’ fur. Also, we need to donate money to wildlife conservation organizations like The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and The Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC). The planet is our home, protect it!
Polar Thaw
ResponderEliminarI think this is the most important social issue, because it is affecting all of us at the same time and is also a consequence of all the destruction and devastation we have done to our home, our only home. However, this is also a problem that the most of us ignore, or we don't put enough attention to it, just because we don't use to think about it like a direct threat. Almost everything we do cause the polar thaw, we all have used the car or we have thrown away some piece of paper that we think is useless. While we are promoting the global warming, The Earth gets warmer, and that is leaving without ice most of the North Pole and Antarctica territory. This is not just reducing the native animals habitat, it is also rising the water level around the world and increasing the planet’s temperature, and that will cause an incredible chaos in the future, because a lot of cities and people that nowadays are laying down on the coasts will disappear, swallowed by the sea. Once all of the ice has vanished from the planet, we will be witnesses of what would be the End of The Human history. But there is a remote possibility of change it, if we start recycling, if we use the car just for emergencies, if we plant some trees, and if we change our attitude, we could face it. We should do it and make it work out... or we will see the consequences of our actions.
Noise pollution
ResponderEliminarIt is too noisy or extremely loud sounds urban pollution caused by activities carried out by cities with large populations. Sound is unbearable. The main cause is human activities that do daily, transportation, construction or demolition of buildings and public works, industry, traffic, airports, concerts, nightclubs. The effects of excessive noise may be physiological, such as hearing loss noise-induced hearing loss is irreversible, incurable, and that affects the inner ear sensory cells, which are not reconstituted. And psychological, such as excessive irritability more aggressive, more prone to motion change of pace from the secretion of certain hormones, which in children may affect growth, hypertension, digestive disorders, stress, behavior disorders. Animals are also affected because they do not feel safe and very shocked. This type of pollution can be reduced by trying to make less noise as decreasing the sounds of traffic using insulating materials in activities such as concerts and nightclubs.
Atmospheric pollution is caused by toxic substances from factories, car’s smoke, residential heating, these things make that the humans and all kind of living things can have risks for their health and it can be dangerous. All the toxic substances float in the atmosphere and the rain or the wind leave these substances in the mountains or lakes and can caused damage in this clean environment. Also this kind of disaster produce a big problem: the greenhouse effect. The greenhouse effect is when the all the toxic gases from factories and car’s have created a layer of pollution so when the sunlight from the universe come to the earth stay here in the earth because they can´t go out for the layer created by the pollution so this is the reason for the earth is so hot every day and this is so dangerous from all of us. So this is a reason why we need to worry because in the future it can be worst and we need also think and the all generations that have to live this situation so all the people need to do something now for the future of our earth .

ResponderEliminarWell what I've heard about floods is due to the large global warming that is in our planet these days, it has been caused by pollution and deforestation.Also these have been caused a great impact on our glaciars producing their melting, which has caused the increase in tide level and therefore the increase of rivers, other concecuence of this is the heavy rains that threaten to increase the danger of floods especially in the lowlands wich means for humans catastrophes destroying crops, animals, coasts, cities, forests, etc.. That is why we are called to become aware of our actions and we must stop the waste because together we can make a better world ..!
In my opinion the pollution is a phenomenon that actually attack, the envinronment it is something that we can prevent, but these is the detai, the people do not concern for that, they do not matter. We should of giving more importance because in the future this ocacion is going to bring bad problems to the Earth in future generationes; but it is begining to show the consequences about this problem, for examnple the smoke of the cars make an acid rain, drought etc. it can explain with a concept global warming. for prevent all those events we should do recycling campaigns, work in the activities that it realize, we have to throw the trash in the dump. If we want that the future generations live outside of these problems we have to everything as posible for live in a healtly envinronment.

ResponderEliminarBeach pollution is caused by natural phenomena examples: hurricanes ,red tides, heavy rain, unexpected weather change,but also is caused by human activity for example: People throw garbage to the sea and contaminates it. Other pollutants reach our beaches as a result of activities carried out near rivers, seas and lagoons.
Pollution levels are not the same at all beaches, for example I visited “Playa Hermosa” in Garabito is very clean and beautiful, but “Jaco“always has been dirty. Nowadays are less dirty because the people have realized programs of cleanliness.
The beaches pollution consequences are:
1 The tourism is going to look affected and the economic ingress of the country or province.
2 People not going to enjoy a healthy and suitable environment and they are in risk to diseases for the water and the dirty land.
And others consequences.
In my opinion people should make more programs of cleanliness, and need to take care of his beaches because the beaches are a natural beauty of his country
Air pollution
ResponderEliminarThis problem is caused by smoke from the cars, sprays, aerosols, among others.
the problem of air pollution can bring many negative consequences to human life because it can affect our health and cause the greenhouse effect.
This problem is more common in developed countries because they have more progress in transportation and there are more people.
the solution is that we have a better use of aerosols and sprays and try not to use a lot of the cars.

Well, today we can see how the ozone layer has been destroyed gradually because of this there is global warming causes the polar regions to melt and the sun makes the strongest glue on Earth, we see how pollution is destroying more and more the planet Earth, pollution, if given by some causes such as deforestation, garbage in the streets, the greenhouse effect, the smoke from cars and factories, use and bad use of wastes, misuse of toxic chemicals, waste is not biodegradable, lack of education on recycling.

I talk about the acid rain.This is caused by the contamination of the manufactures and vehicles for example, beacause there are more causes, I say the manufactures and vehicles because those are the causes more importants in the world and anywhere of the planet.This problem affect the rivers, lakes, the vegetation and definitely the animals, beacuse they need the to drink water of the rivers and lakes, and these are contaminated.

ResponderEliminarAcid rain is caused by smoke from factories and cars that go up into the clouds and combine with chemicals and fall as rain, fog etc... And can span long distances because the wind brings rain to other parts.
its consequences are devastat can destroy many trees and plants, also causes the plants not are resist pests and ruined buildings, most affected animals are shrimp and snails because the water is high dangerous chemicals. Some solutions is to reduce fossil fuel use, using public transportation or find other sources of energy and electricity saving.

A lot of parts are affected by water pollution. Ecosystems is one of the most affected areas, including forests, rivers and seas, even the life of animals and humans.
• As we can see, this problem is more common in rivers and beaches because people just throw their trash without notice how they are affecting the environment.
• People must be aware about what they are doing right now and how they are going to contribute to reduce this big problem that are affecting our life day by day.

ResponderEliminarwell, the industry, for me is a really worry theme about the pollution, nowadays people does not care if their acts cause some bad result for the environment, also the factories take a bad notion about that theme, well in my point of view the worker who is the principal of the factories has not on his mind the problem that nowadays affect the environment, does not matter the hour, the day... always continue the "work".
I think people need to take a better noyion about the pollution that we past every day, and also think about that in a few years some people of their family is going to live at those kinds of problems that we are produce right now.
The contamination of water

This have many consequence the people pollute water because this is the principal element for human and wild life.
The people knowledge that the rivers give us the water for the all families, community and cities and the more important is that we and the animals consume them. Also destroy and contaminate the mother nature.
That’s why we must have conscience and care the water because they can cause many diseases in our life and every year affef the economy too
In this problem there are many solution:
1- to say the people the important is the water for our life
2- to know the problem when throw garabe in the rivers
3- the we need the water for live
4- all the people and families take conscience they don’t have dirty the rivers
5- the expert do a project of treatment for polluted or residual water
the idea is that we take care and help our planet and the environment we will live happy
