Sports and Exercising


Instructions for your blog

For this first blog, you will write about sports and how important are they for our health.  Answer the two following questions with your own opinion and using a paragraph format.
  1. Which sports do you like to play? How are they practiced? Mention and explain 2 of them.
  2. What is the importance of playing sports or doing exercise? Talk about the benefits of exercising for our body.

Is important to do exercises,because you help to develop your body.when you do sports allow to share goog moments with people when work in the group.do exercises have more benefits for your life for example:good health,give security of oneself,learn to respect the rules and people,help to give have dynamic,positive life,good operation the lungs and heart.my favorities sports that I practice are:dance,swim and play soccer.
    Dance:it is fantastic,fun,intersting.when you dance feel happy and relaxed,can you practiced individual,groups and partner.dance have different rhythm for the people like,dancing you can move legs,arms,waist,shoulders,head and also sometimes move the all body.
    Swim:consists in to be hold and to advance used the legs and arms under the wáter,the swim is an ability should be learn .you can practice in any place that have wáter and has free movement .the swim that you have ended up considering a valuable system of physical therapy and the sport of general have more benefits that it exists

  2. Sports and exercising are very important in my life. I believe that they contribute to my well-being and my happiness. I like swimming, surfing and going to the gym. I practice swimming in a pool and in the ocean at the beach. Surfing is also practiced there at the beach and I’d love to learn it someday. I go to the gym three days a week for two hours. I lift weights and run in the treadmill. In the gym people have an exercise routine that helps them to lose weight, to feel stronger and to keep a good diet. The importance of playing sports and doing exercise is that they are very healthy and fun. I really feel relaxed and motivated to eat well and to feel very good with myself. Everyone should practice sports and exercise to have a healthy body and mind to have a good physical condition.

I love cycling is the best for me because it is fun and can practice with your friends or you can go for a walk somewhere and enjoy the scenery and I like because my dad was the winner of the return to Costa Rica and I like badminton because it's fun and help to have good health. This sport can be practiced anywhere if you enjoy it. You only need a racket and a steering wheel, of course, a couple to play with you.
    Sports are very good for your health but if you practice it too much you can get sick of vigorexia so we have to practice it with moderation. Some of the benefits of exercise are:
    - less depression
    - less pain
    - Significantly increase the self-esteem.
    - Increase your ability to concentrate.
    - Increase their toleration of stress.
    Do exercising is very important for you body¡¡¡

  6. I like to play soccer but I’d like to learn to play football and triathlon. I don’t play soccer very often but I really enjoy doing it when I can, the idea of this game is to look for the ball and only whit your feet you have to throw the ball into the other team goalkeeper’s football brand, the team who make more goals will win the game.
    The Triathlon is a very curious game sport because it’s like a “mix” of swimming, cycling and athletics, first they start with swimming in the beach or any river, then they run for their bicycles and finally they end the sport with the athletics.
    The importance of making exercises is that if you want to have a long and healthy life you must do any sport of physical activity, also, if you make exercises you’ll have a nice body and you’ll feel better with yourself.

  7. I love to make sports in my free time and enjoy with my friends or family.

    1 Well i love to play soccer, basketball and volleyball because are fun and help to have good health and feel better.
    I’m in a soccer team, there I practice this sport, I practice basketball with my family and friends too. The soccer is my favorite sport, I don’t be the best soccer player but it isn’t important to me because I enjoy practicing this sport.

    2 Exercising or make sports are very important to feel healthy and energetic, but the sports don’t help only your body for example in the soccer team that I play, there I learned a lot of things for example:

    -This sport helped me to avoid the drugs
    -I learned discipline
    - I could have developed in a healthier environment
    -I developed patience and hard working

    The soccer is a great sport because it tests my effort and work, also to allow me to have a better mental and physical health, I love make sports in my free time and enjoy with my friends or family.

  8. The sports are very important in the life because of them you will have a good fitness. The people practice many sports, for example swimming, badminton, tennis, soccer, basketball, and others exercises. I like to play badminton; this sport is a game where you have to use a racket and a ball played individually or in pairs and the objective is to throw a ball or an object called “feather” over a net to a sign-posted court. The player throws, receives and relaunch it. All this without allowing the “feather” touches the ground. You lose the game if you commit a foul, it happened when the “feather”: touches the ground doesn’t pass the net or when it falls off the court. And I like to practice swimming, ok well this sport can be practiced individual or in groups. Swimming is the ability to float, to be submerged in water and to move in any direction using the hands, arms and legs. Anyone can practice this sport. The most important thing is that you feel good and happy with any sport you practice and it is essential to stay healthy and fit. If you avoid eating more than you had to and staying doing nothing (sedentary), you can remove wastes and toxins, getting your body strong and athletic, burning calories, removing excess fat and regaining a beautiful figure.

  9. I love swimming and dancing if considered as a sport.
    Swimming is a sport simple, That’s the way I see it ; I don’t know what others thinks about it.
    Swimming is needed:
    • Not afraid of the water.
    • Hand and foot coordination
    • Must be used: swim cap, goggles for swimming and obviously with a swimsuit.
    The thinks that you will have to do are:
    • First enters the water.
    • Second attempt to float on water.
    • Third is beginning to move the limbs after much practice.
    Another sport that I like it allot is dancing.Because you don’t have to think or practice allot to know how to dance because you just move your body and no one should tell you that its bad because you are expressing yourself and that is one of the thinks that is only your mind and imagination.
    Sports are important because keep your body safe of disease and many other things that are bad for health. Exercise is good because:
    1-Keeps the body free of impurities.
    2-People were more active in every way I the sense of the word.
    3-Be more disciplined
    4-Keep your body healthy
    5-If you do exercises you should be more handsome or beautiful.

  10. It is very important sport or exercise because it keeps us active and gives us a great physical fitness and better health.

    Well, sports that I like are soccer, basketball, tennis and surfing but I can not even practice, I have so much fun when playing sports.
    The Football is very simple, play between 11 players for team and is basically try to achieve more goals than the opponent...just to have fun with friends and improve your health.
    Tennis is played on a field divided by a net , played with rackets that is played between two players or between two couples and which is to hit the ball with the racket to go back and forth through the field over the net.
    And the surf is to glide over the waves standing on a table, directing it through one or more fins located on the table.

    Playing sports is good enough for our body as it strengthens the physical condition, improved health status, has more agility and is not as lazy, having fun and improving your physique.

  11. I like to make long walks while listening to music watching the landscape of the place where this as the beach or the mountains. You have to walk many meters and is very tired spend many minutes’ walk, but it is nice to see the landscape at the end of the walk, and take water is very important. I practiced karate in the Karate do Shotokan academy where they make stretching exercises, after you teach self-defense and how to attack the enemy and if there are several we learn special moves.
    When doing exercises in your body increases your energy and stamina, reduces some of the effects of aging, sleeps a lot more quiet and far more relaxed, protects you from many diseases, reduces blood pressure, strengthens muscles and bones and increases your flexibility.

  12. I like to go swimming because it is a sport that must be used throughout the body and is one of the healthiest.
    I also like to play soccer is a sport full of energy.
    Is needed for swimming, have a lot of discipline, have good physical condition and love the sport.
    Volleyball: it is a sport where two teams face off on a smooth field separated by a central network, trying to pass the ball over the net to the opposite field soil.
    Exercise is very important for our body and mind, as exercise keeps us healthy and good humor.
    The benefits of playing sports is good health and healthy living.

  13. I love figure skating,is one of the most beautiful and breathtaking sports to watch. Not only do the competitors have to be super strong and athletic, but they also have to be graceful and artistic. I've always loved watching the figure skating championships on TV and really admire the athletes. The triple (and now sometimes quadruple) jumps, spins, throws, and intricate dance moves are just spectacular. It seems every year someone is achieving what used to be impossible feats on the ice.
    I also love playing tenni,this is a sport that will make you more fit and bring you more fun.Tennis is a sport usually played between two players (singles) or between two teams of two players each (doubles). Each player uses a racket that is strung to strike a hollow rubber ball covered with felt over a net into the opponent's court. Tennis is an Olympic sport and is played at all levels of society at all ages. The sport can be played by anyone who can hold a racket.
    Exercising is very important because it helps Prevent Diseases Our bodies were meant to move they actually crave exercise. Regular exercise is necessary for physical fitness and good health. It reduces the risk of heart disease, cancer, high blood pressure, diabetes and other diseases. It can improve your appearance and delay the aging process.People often assume that more is better. Wrong! Doing too much too soon or performing intense exercises on a daily basis will have deleterious effects, such as muscle/tendon strains, loss of lean tissue, and fitness-level plateaus..

  14. Well... For me the sports is very important because it helps us to keep our bodies healthy and in good condition. And avoid heart disease, anemia, obesity and other diseases. A person who does sport is healthy,but a person who does not do exercise or sport have more risk for get a dissese. Is very important that people take care of their health by doing exercise and practicing different sports like: soccer, baseball, swimming, volleyball, basketball and other sports.
    And my favorite sports are soccer and swimming, for soccer you need a lot of physical condition and most importantly you have to love this sport so that it can play
    Swimming is practice in a pool or in the sea or maybe in the river and you have to move arms and legs coordinated in a straight line.

  15. Well ell nowadays de sports are very importants in the life of the persons…Exist a lot of types of sports for example de football soccer baseball basketball volleyball swimming cycling…etc!! Actually people practice too many differents sports and that’s its so good because is a good idea to have a free time to relaxing for the stressful in the work in the house in the high school…also are very important for the healty of the person, if you have a cardiac problems it’s a good idea that you start practice some sport or simply you go out to walk!! The excerise help you to have a good figure if you are concerned with your body! But it’s a problem that one person practice some sport and he or she don’t like the sport that is practice because the don’t goona fun with the sport! People that want to lose weight have to go to the gym!
    IIf you practice some sport its important that you have a good feeding, because you lost a lot of calories and you should visit a nutritionist !! For mi my favorite sports are soccer and athletics !! I practice it every day.

  16. I like practicing tennis, swimming and volleyball because these sports are of the most beautiful to practice,and must have a very good discipline and physical condition to obtain a good yield.
    Tenis :this sport practice with at least two people, one on each side,using the rackets and the ball,and avoiding the ball pass the point indicated where gool,that in this case it is called "make a point".
    Volleyball: the circulation of a very similar way to the tennis,what is different is that in tennis are used snowshoes to avoid the point of the other person,and volleyball are used the hands of a very dynamic to avoid the point of the partner.
    In my opinion it is very important or practicing any sport or exercise because the sports gives us a better physical condition,better health,and therefore a better quality of life,because we are in less danger of getting a disease.
    In addition i think it is important to make sport for maintaining an active life and non-sedentary,because to make sport helps us to organize ourselves better,maintain our figure and enjoy the activities that we make.
    I think that it is advisable that people who have some kind of disease carried out some sport,because to make sport improves our movement, our self-esteem,and our health.

  17. Do exercises and play sports are important to keep a good health. I like to play volleyball, soccer, swim and cheerleading.
    Swim: This sport consist in move your arms and your legs under the water, also, it's a competitive sport played around the world and on many different levels, including the olympics. It's also an easy sport to do by yourself, for fun and for exercise. You can swim in a backyard pool, an indoor lap pool, or the waters of an ocean or lake. Many doctors and athletes agree that swimming is one of the best workouts you can give your body, because it works almost all of your major muscle groups at the same time.
    Cheerleading: It's a sport that include the dance the gymnastic and the stunds. To be a cheerleader you need to be confident and have thrust in your team also you have to take slow, deep breaths to calm and relax yourself, drink plenty of water, have a good attitude, show your enthusiasm and if you make a mistake, go on. Don't stop and stress over it. Use the opportunity to show you can recover from a mistake. Finally, have fun and let it show.
    The importance of playing sports or doing exercise is that you can feel better with your body and your healt should improve. It isn´t a hobbie, it´s a lifestyle and a good habit for the teenagers to spend their free time. If you play any sport or do exercise, you might to have a long life.

  18. In our days we have many sports which we can practice, basically a sport is a form of entertain with friends or family and at the same time exercising and maintaining in the form our body. The footbol is one of the sports that has been practiced in Costa Rica, many people of different ages practice it, since they are too young to be adults.
    In my case, i like very much the volleyball, and i really enjoy playing, but I can practice very few times, however as all sports is very important for service costs a healthy body, without diseases, a healthy mind and for have fun too ... that is why all human beings should practice some kind of sports and have a good life style.

  19. In our days the sports are so important because it helps us to keep our body in shape and have an a healthy life and with the exercising keep with this and we can feel so happy..
    Some of the sports that I like to practice are the volleyball and tennis.. I like to play tennis a lot because is so funny and interesting, we need a ball an a raquet and comfortable clothes to play. This sport needs spend many time practice it for begin in a good player. I think the tennis is so healthy for our body and also for our mind because we need a concentration and we can forget our daily problems and a volleyball too.
    Volleyball is so funny because we need an organized team and share ideas and also we need to have a physical condition for be a good team. Volleyball is play by the hands so we need to know so many positions and when we are in a game get ready and have a good concentration because there are many people so it needs a cordination for begin in a good team and win all the time like in all the sports and it also help us to be healthy and happy in the same time.!!!

    In our days do exercising is very importante because is the only way that you can be healthy today and your whole life,and also you feel you better with yourself.My favorite sports is dancing .I try practice it everyday .I like it so much you can move all your body with de music in feel so good..for practice this type of sport you need time, a big and nice place where yo can move ,good music maybe your favorite music.I think dancing is a healthy sport because you clears your thinking and you can forget the troubles.dancing is a good sport for other reasons like is goog because you can meet new people,share with them,spend you free time doing something health and fanny in the same time.dancing is practiced by all your body,when you take clases for learn it somebody going to show you how you can dance correctly.By Priscila Fonseca.

  21. I like exercise when i have time, my favorite sports are football, tennis, running and swimming. I like to practice football and swimming when i go with my family or friends to the beach or to a trip, when the place have green area we make a little play of football and when we can´t more we go to the sea or to the swimming pool to refresh so we always are exercising.
    The football consist to run with a ball from one side to the other to get the ball into the goal of the opposing team, the team that make more goals win, is easy and fun, we need to work together to win.
    The swimming is an sport that is to relax and rest too, is about swim around all the swimming pool, swim with the head underwater and hold your breath because if you drink water you can drown, you need to have many precautions to do this sport.
    Do exercise is very important because it keeps you healthy and make that you feel more relax, happy and healthy. When you end to play or to exercise you feel more free, more good with yourself and you can lost some kilos with fun, is hard but if you make succees you´re going to feel very very good.
    This benefits your body because your muscles harden and you´re going to look very atractive.
    So exercise is very good for you, try to practice it all the days.

  22. I love the cycling of mountain because you can go with your friends to a differents places of the mountain and enjoy the landscape and I like the soccer because i feel good about myself and i have fun.
    You practice cycling of mountain with a bike number 26 with suspension and changes and confortable clothing. The soccer can practice with 11 persons in two teams everyone, the team with more goals win!
    practice differents sports can help to maintain the strenght, improves the appearance physique,reduce the stress and improves the sleep,in the case of the soccer help to improve the coordination and flexibility and feel healthy to make a differents tasks in my life.

  23. Mixed martial arts is a sport very interesting because it is the combination of many martial arts, for example, Brazilian jiu jitsu, kickboxing, muay Thai, and so on. It's a very physical contact sport so be careful when practicing. The fights take place in a boxing ring and also in the Octagon. I like this sport because you learn to defend very well and achieved a great physical condition. This sport is great because you learn patience, learn to defend yourself and you can achieve good physical health

In these times the children used to played soccer and run, and they were very happy, now the times have been changed because the majority children only game play station and others.
    I have been practicing to swimming pool, because it´s the best sport for bones and column. Always I like to practice basketball also this sport supports me active.

    I like some sports are soccer practice, basketball, tennis, table tennis, athletics, these sports are very important in health, that I like is football and that is the more practical day of the week and keeps me good physical condition as I have to be running and dominating the ball one I like to practice is the athlete who is very responsible and effort into this sport you need a good condition and always be firm these sports are of great importance since the 2 keep us beating heart and indeed our whole body exercise for these is also important to have good food and each requires a lot of energy would be good for everyone to practice at least one game a week so they are healthy to mention the sports you should wear comfortable clothing or anything that would bother us estorve depends on the sport and a good space.
